Caravan & Camping Sites

Lake Tinaroo's many caravan sites are deep within the quiet park with individual access to water and power. There is a new amenities block near the Granite Springs lagoons.

The Lagoon sites feature our newest addition - encouraging the natural spring-fed stream, Granite Springs, into a series of lagoons, bringing more wildlife and birds.

PANCAKE MORNING TEA

We welcome you to join us on Tuesdays in our Camp Kitchen from 10am for Pancakes, cream, jam, syrup, lemon juice, Tea & Coffee. Please bring a cup, a hearty appetite and a donation for Starlight Children's Foundation.

SAUSAGE SIZZLE

You can already smell the sausages, rissoles and onion sizzling in our Camp Kitchen on Saturdays. BYO drinks and join us around our camp kitchen fire pit from 6pm, bring a donation to the Starlight Children's Foundation.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Come and join us on Saturday 28 July from 6pm at our Camp Kitchen for our Christmas in July Camp Oven. Good old fashioned Aussie Bush Tucker at its best.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN!

For the young and young at heart come and join us for the Tinaroo Games at 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Wednesday through the June/July School Holidays - Tug-o-war, egg shy, sack races with prizes to be won.

2012 ECLIPSE

November 14, 2012 is attracting world-wide attention from visitors planning holidays around the event which is best viewed from the Cairns/Atherton Tablelands region. The total solar eclipse will be seen along a narrow strip of land about 200km wide which crosses the top of Queensland and the Coral Sea. Waterfall Circuit

After the wonderful rainfall on the tablelands why not take a trip to the fantastic local waterfalls.Millaa Millaa Falls where you can have a bbq and a swim. Next is the Zillie Falls which can be viewed from a platform near the road. Last on the circuit is Ellinjaa Falls, this secluded falls are great for swimming.
